This is the form of yoga that will definitely warm you up and get your heart rate going. This program is a skeletal alignment practice that synchronizes movements and breathing. The class will gradually progress through the postures and is a fitness based yoga.

yoga (hatha) beginner
This yoga class is gentler than the power (ashtanga) yoga. The class contains more seated postures and is known for achieving longevity and radiant health. Hatha postures eliminate toxins, promote free flow of energy and stimulate various glands and organs. The class will gradually progress through the postures.

Christine Felstead’s yoga for runners and athletes

A series of 90-minute classes where participants learn about functional anatomy as it relates to the impact of running. The foundations of yoga are used to bring awareness to the structural and muscular imbalances caused by repetitive strain on the specific muscles and joints used in running. Each week has a specific body emphasis and leads to the development of an individualized post-run routine.

Christine Felstead’s yoga for runners and athletes maintenance program
This 60 minutes class incorporates work in areas key for runners and athletes: hips, hamstrings, core strength and breath. Additionally, each class surveys participant needs (specific injuries for overworked muscle groups) and addressed the issue in the class. This class helps you stretch out after your weekend of training.

*This is a pre-registered class but 10 spots will be reserved for those who wish to drop in and take a class. Please pay at the guest services desk to reserve your spot the day of class.

thai–ed up yoga

Grab your partner (in a gentle manner of course) and participate in this couples yoga program. Partners support each other in postures and are givers and receivers in this yoga class. Spend some time with your partner – both physically and spiritually and allow them some relaxation time. Caution: expect to relax, giggle, and to be thaied up!
